The polls have closed, and counting and declarations are continuing for elections across Britain. Labour have been pushed into third place in the Scottish parliament elections, with SNP losing their overall majority, Ukip has won its first assembly seats in Wales. Labout have done better in the English council elections, which are still coming in, and tonight we find out if Sadiq Khan has been successful in his attempt to become London’s first Muslim mayor.
Elsewhere in England, there are council elections, police and crime commissioner elections, and mayoral elections in Liverpool, Bristol and Salford.
Wherever you are in the UK, we want to hear from you. Were the election results where you live as you expected? Did you turn out to vote, and are you happy with the result? What are the implications for your town, city or area?
