Damien Hirst at Tate Modern: the making of my diamond skull - video

The artist reveals his thoughts behind the construction of For the Love of God, his £50m platinum and diamond skull sculpture. It was made over 18 months with materials worth £14m after Hirst purchased the skull in a taxidermy shop. Prior to the retrospective exhibition at London's Tate Modern, the piece had not been seen in the UK since 2007. For the Love of God is on display in the Turbine Hall and is free to the public
