Mick Jagger sentenced to three months in prison

On 29 June 1967, Mick Jagger was sentenced to prison for possession of amphetamine pills. The charge stemmed from the infamous raid of Keith Richards' Redlands estate in Sussex at which the police encountered Marianne Faithfull wrapped only in a fur rug. Richards and Jagger were convicted but released the following day pending an appeal
