Get Your House In Order | John Bishop's Sport Relief Hell | Sex And Sensibility | The Good Wife | Senna | Death Row

Get Your House In Order
8pm, Channel 4

This new show is a mix of several that have gone before. Tonight, shopaholic Amie is told she must stop hoarding, so the show's team sell off a ton of her junk to finance a bit of painting and decorating. If only they had shoehorned in a recipe or a song, then this show would have covered all the reality show bases. There's not even time to consider Amie's fiance, who has a very large tattoo of their approaching wedding date on his arm – and he's considered the normal one in their house. Phelim O'Neill

John Bishop's Sport Relief Hell
9pm, BBC1

Just because David Walliams has made the celebrity-long-distance-swimming-for-charity gig his own, it doesn't mean the world lacks for absurdly knackering physical tests. Step forward comic John Bishop, whose Sport Relief challenge involves cycling, running and rowing the 290 miles from Paris to London in just five days. It all breaks down as follows: a 185-mile cycle from the Eiffel Tower to Calais, to be completed in less than 24 hours; a trip across a choppy Channel in the company of a celeb rowing team; and a 90-mile run from Dover to London. Hell may be an understatement. Jonathan Wright

Sex And Sensibility
9pm, BBC4

Kicking off in Paris, Stephen Smith presents a three-part series celebrating the curvy and opulent delights of art nouveau. It's a movement that exploded after the then-unknown Alphonse Mucha created a wildly popular poster for a production of Gismonda. Pretty soon, the nouveau style was everywhere: in architecture, interior design, crafts, and famously on Hector Guimard's Métro station entrances – "portals to the future" indeed. So far, so expected, but Smith looks beyond the glamour to find unexpected political agendas, notably in the work of glassmaker Emile Gallé. JW

The Good Wife
9pm, More4

Much of the success of this classy courtroom drama rests on its ability to avoid the simplified good and evil dichotomies found in other procedurals. This week Will, Alicia and Diane investigate what they believe may be a crooked jury. However, their desire to see justice done and, more importantly, to win, prompts the team to make some morally questionable decisions. Gwilym Mumford

9pm, Sky Atlantic

Deservedly garlanded effort recalling the extraordinary life of Ayrton Senna, the triple world champion whose death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix continues to haunt Formula One. Asif Kapadia's film is constructed substantially from home movies, racing footage and archive material, but differs from most documentaries in that the talking heads are heard, not seen. The focus stays unflinchingly on Senna, building a connection that makes the tragic ending somehow shocking all over again. A great film about motor racing – but a better one about talent, ambition, rivalry and hubris. Andrew Mueller

Death Row
10pm, Channel 4

Grizzly Man's Werner Herzog brings his trademark sense of unnerving calm to bear on this four-part documentary series about death row inmates. Hank Skinner was sentenced to death in 1995 for triple homicide, a charge he continues to fight via the Supreme Court. He's already been served his last rites once, giving him a rare insight into what it feels like to eat your last meal in the shadow of the gurney. "I wasn't scared of dying in the sense that I'm not going to exist any more," he reveals. "I was scared of the blackness." Sam Richards
