In the past year we have … won two medals at the men's European Championships, our sixth in that event since 2006. To put that in perspective, before that we had not won a medal at a major championships since 1965. We took bronze in both the team and individual foil. Our women's épée team reached the quarter-finals. We are meeting our targets and doing well.
In the next two years we will ... target medals at the World Championships in Paris this November. We reached the semi-finals last year.
Medal tally prediction ... Our official target is one, but we have set a target of two medals. All six of our European medals have come in the men's foil, so that is the event we are targeting.
