A&E services face 'important changes', says Jeremy Hunt
The health secretary responds to a warning that NHS A&E services could collapse within six months unless planning improves. Jeremy Hunt says he agrees with Chris Hopson, chief executive of the Foundation Trust Network, that pressure is mounting. He says that a million more people are using A&E each year. However, Hunt insists A&E departments are meeting waiting time targets and that fewer people are waiting more than a year for NHS operations
