Three years since Glasser's debut album, Ring, the artist we once described as "an electronic Joni Mitchell, or a more technoid Joanna Newsom" is back.
Glasser, also known as Cameron Mesirow, has created a collection of songs called Interiors, triggered by her move from California to settle in New York. Partly inspired by architect Rem Koolhaas's book Delirious New York, Interiors is a reaction to her new locale and the skyscraping, condensed city architecture of New York.
"I thought a lot about the physical impositions in my life, and about the fluid emotional boundaries in my relationships," Glasser says. "There's no limit to what can be said about these structures. I can't help but live and work in them, exploring their many folds."
What do you think? Is there any area of interior design that Glasser could have focused on more? Would you have liked a track dedicated to Stainless Steel Worktops or perhaps Country Hornbeam Laminate Flooring? Have a listen using the wiget above and let us know in the comments below.
