Rustie – Glass Swords: exclusive album stream

Listen to the chaotic but charming debut album by this Glaswegian producer

You may need to take a deep breath before listening to Glass Swords, the debut album from Glaswegian producer Rustie. It's not a record for the faint of heart. Or faint of mind.

Old school rave, retro computer games, sleek R&B, guitar feedback, shimmering synths … the list of ingredients is endless and they attack you all at once. At different speeds. In different directions.

Delve deeper, however, and the album reveals itself to be as warm as it is inventive. We love it, but let us know what you think in the comments section below …

• Glass Swords will be released on 10 October via Warp.

Dan Hancox: Rustie's debut album was a splash of Technicolor, escapist fun that drew on trance, rave and the Seinfield theme. Could it be this generation's Club Tropicana?
