New music video: David Byrne and Santigold - Please Don't

Need to make a music video? Then surely the first thing to do is cobble together a load of Imelda Marcos footage, right?

David Byrne has posted a clip of the video for his new track with Santigold (nee Santogold) on his website. Yep, it's pretty much just a collection of archive footage of the shoe-loving former first lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos. This is because, as Byrne explains: "Most of the lyrics on this one are lifted gently from interviews and quotations, the 'please don't' chorus especially." Byrne also says that by the time you get to said chorus, Santi "owns" the song. So what do you think?
