Watch Fenech-Soler perform Last Forever and All I Know

The British electro-pop group give us two live renditions for the latest Muzu.tv sessions

Performing for the latest instalment of the MUZU.TV sessions, Northamptonshire group Fenech-Soler begin this week's set with Last Forever, the lead track from their 2013 album Rituals.

“We wrote the song in the summer in a little house in Norfolk where we took our instruments and took over the house,” singer Ben Duffy explains. “It’s got a very upbeat feel.”

Although specialising in high-voltage dance tracks - formerly described by the Guardian as "slick, floor-filling, synth-blasted pop" - the band are sticklers for sugary pop in its purest form: “I’m always intrigued by the search for great melodies over chords,” says Ben. “The ultimate goal is not to have big pop moments, I think a lot of really good pop music these days there’s actually not much there, it’s quite minimal.”

Next up is All I Know, which the band say is their favourite Fenech-Soler song to perform live. “Actually I think it’s one of my favourites to play in this stripped-back environment too,” says Ben. “Singing the song always makes me feel quite emotional.”
