Graham Coxon – A+E: exclusive album stream

Let us know what you think of the 10 tracks sampled here and read Miranda Sawyer's Observer interview with Graham Coxon

Best known by many as the guitarist in Blur, Graham Coxon released three solo albums while still in the band, and there have been four since then, with a new one, A+E, coming out next month. His fans will no doubt be thrilled by what Miranda Sawyer describes in her Observer interview with the musician as "10 noisy, messy-edged tracks that have pushed themselves into the sunlight".

Coxon, along with producer Ben Hillier, recorded 21 songs in just two months playing nearly all the instruments himself and has described the sessions as being like "a big playground". The resulting tracks have been divided into two albums: A+E, and another that may well be released later in the year.

A+E is released on Parlophone on 2 April, but you can listen to it now using the widget above. Let us know what you make of it in the comments below.
