Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am have reassured fans they are fine after being involved in a car crash in Los Angeles on Wednesday. "Car accidents are not dope … I'm glad I'm o.k" tweeted the Black Eyed Peas' leader. "Don't worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise x," added Cole.
The pair had left a recording studio in Los Angeles when Will.i.am reportedly hit a parked car with his Cadillac at 3.30am. Cole, who was in the passenger seat, received treatment at the scene of the accident, while Will.i.am was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital. He suffered a bloody nose and left the scene in a neck brace.
The accident comes a day after Will.i.am's single Reach for the Stars became the first piece of music broadcast to Earth from Mars, after being played on Nasa's Curiosity rover vehicle.
