Strange as it may seem, even U2 sometimes forget how to be U2. Whether it's middle age or plain self-doubt, this band can still make some pretty odd choices. Most recently, they've opened the campaign for their No Line On The Horizon album with the not-all-that-good single Get On Your Boots, a record which could make you think they'd lost it completely. The album itself, however, saw U2 exploiting their most emotional and epic, not to mention familiar qualities. The 360° Tour duly operates the same policy: easy on the concepts, all about the music, a monochrome presentation that puts the focus on the band you've gone to see, rather than their ideas about anything. For that, we can be thankful.
