The reggae legend is in nostalgia mode for his first album in years, rekindling his partnership with producer Adrian Sherwood and revisiting many of his own Seventies rhythms. Though Scratch's voice is a battered bird these days, life abounds in the music, Sherwood mixing up traditional roots, restrained electronics and the kind of dub effects he first borrowed from Perry 25 years ago.
