Camden Crawl lineup announced

Los Campesinos! and Future of the Left among the artists set to play

The lineup for 2008's Camden Crawl festival has been announced, with Los Campesinos!, Future of the Left and Acoustic Ladyland among the performers. All in all, over a hundred bands will perform at 25 venues across London's Camden area on April 18 and 19.

The Camden Crawl traditionally offers an exciting mix of both established and emerging artists. Cardiff-based Los Campesinos! have been plastered across magazine covers thanks to their recent debut LP, where boy-girl shouts mix with twee diatribes and the production of Broken Social Scene's Dave Newfeld.

Acoustic Ladyland offer dirty contemporary jazz, Future of the Left have a profane and lunatic brand of indie punk, and artists like Sky Larkin and Fanfarlo add a quieter note to the festivities. Lykke Li, one of Sweden's hottest new artists - compared to Robyn, M.I.A. and Feist, - is also set to perform.

Several higher-profile bands are usually announced closer to the time, often playing in smaller than normal clubs.

Tickets are now on sale, starting at £29.70 for one day. A portion of the ticket price goes to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
