Christmas shopping ordering dates: what you need to know

We round up the final ordering dates from popular retailers to ensure gifts bought online are delivered in time for the big day

Christmas is looming and if you plan to buy any of your presents online you are running out of time if you want to be sure your order will arrive in time to be wrapped and put under the tree.

Here's a roundup the final ordering dates for some of the UK's most popular retailers. The dates are for deliveries within the UK.

Unfortunately, events such as a sudden snowstorm could disrupt even the best-laid plans, so the message for all shoppers is if you want to be sure you get what you want, don't leave it to the last minute.

If you are thinking of buying someone a gift subscription, that may buy you more time. Check out our guide to the best.

Just in case anything goes wrong, make sure you read our guide to your rights when shopping online.
