Letter: Bernard Cribbins obituary

A BBC celebration of Max Wall showed the actor was also a striking radio performer

Bernard Cribbins was also a striking radio performer. In particular he provided the commentary for a BBC celebration of the art of Max Wall. The programme was produced by my colleague Michael Pointon, who was a great friend of the comedian. Bernard’s delivery was fittingly amiable in tone, and you felt that he too was an enthusiast for Wall’s humour.
