House of Cards fans will be glued to Netflix this week as the twisted story of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and wife Claire (Robin Wright) and their Washington scheming continues for a third season. If the political machinations get too much, for a little light relief why not dip into Sesame Street’s parody of the story.
And if you can’t get enough of Bird Bird and co, take a look at the Birdman spoof, featuring Caroll Spinney and the big yellow feathered one himself. Winning four Oscars gives the Alejandro González Iñárritu film no immunity from parody.
We’ve got laughter over another blockbuster series next as HBO has released a blooper reel from Game of Thrones. There’s also a weird take on a silver screen classic and children’s favourite as Disney’s Mary Poppins sings death metal, plus another spoof, this time for the trailer of Whiplash.
