Watch the trailer for hijack thriller White House Down, directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day), in which the presidential residence is attacked by paramilitaries. Channing Tatum plays the local cop - in the building to apply for a job – who teams up with the president (played by Jamie Foxx) to take on the bad guys and rescue hostages

• White House Down is released on 28 June in the US and 6 September in the UK
