Temple Terrace Ballet Capriccio Italien

Please Note A Pre-Holiday dance concert. Act I is a mixture of Ballet, Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theatre and Acrobatic dances. Act II is a short story ballet, "Capriccio Italien" set in a market square on a Venetian canal. Vendors sell their wares to shoppers. School Children come out to play and are given Gingerbread Cookies by the Baker, but Bullies steal them, cause damage to the shopkeepers' stands, and gorge themselves on pies. They are caught and appropriately punished. A Gondolier and his Wife come to do some shopping, Acrobats and a Gypsy provide entertainment for the crowd, and all enjoy a rousing celebratory Finale dance.
