Jason Quick and the Quick Trio

Bio:Jason Quick is a guitarist, bandleader, composer and educator based out of Toledo, Ohio. Quicks namesake Trios and Quartets have been featured in an array of venues including historic Cliff Bells in Detroit, Ginger Rabbit in Columbus and Pittsburghs NOLA on the Square. His projects perform at clubs, events and festivals across the Great Lakes and Midwest regions, including the Whiskey Parlor in Detroit, Ziggys in Ypsilanti, Columbus Jazz s Jazz on the Monon, and downtown Louisvilles former jazz basement, Jimmy Cant Dance. Quick Trio has been playing third Saturdays in residency at Wesleys Bar for 3 years running. Quick Quartet plays packed house performances at Toledos newest jazz listening room, Lucilles Jazz Lounge. Longtime players on the Toledo music scene, Quick and his ensembles are known for memorable performances at Toledo Museum of Art, Crosby Festival of the Arts, and the Toledo Botanical Gardens Jazz in the Garden series. Quick has a degree in Jazz Studies from Wayne State University and a Masters in Guitar Performance from Bowling Green State University.
