Its Waylon time, yall!New Ben Franklins return with their 15th annual Waylon Jennings tribute show - the Waylon wail-off, as it has affectionately come to be known. Joined once again by their good friends Jimbo Darville and the Truckadours, the bands will perform more than 40 Waylon songs in 2 sets, covering highlights from the outlaws entire career.New Ben Franklins have been making music in the Denver area for over 31 years now, and masquerading as a part-time country band for around 15. When not playing the part of a country band, the Franklins play dark, noisy, twangy rock and roll music that is hard to define but easy to enjoy. The band have released 5 full-length records and numerous EPs in that time, as well as playing small rock venues, large concert halls, and festivals. Jimbo Darville and the Truckadours have been slinging truck driving music for more than a decade now across the country. Based in the Front Range, the band brings the twang of traditional truck driving music but interlaces it with shades of reggae, soul, and alternative rock.
