Japan hit by floods and landslides after heavy rain – video

Incessant rain that began last Thursday triggered flash floods and mudslides in southern Japan, killing at least 26 people. Most of the 230,000 people who fled the rising waters were able to return by Monday, but thousands of homes and hundreds of roads were damaged. The military airlifted food by helicopter to stranded districts
