Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian: Bosna i Hercegovina, Босна и Херцеговина, usually shortened to BiH) is a European country on the Balkan Peninsula. Mostly mountainous, it has access to a tiny portion of the Adriatic Sea coastline in the south.
